Afterhours

The fun side of me. Outside product design I draw characters, design launch pages, make share-card templates and the odd logo, mostly for online communities and a few small businesses. It’s looser, louder and faster than my day job, and I love it.Tap any piece to open it ↗

The Ducker

The Ducker started as a joke and grew into a whole cast: a duck character that riffs on internet meme culture, plus the online community I co-founded around it.

It’s inspired by meme culture rather than wholly original, but the poses, outfits and scenes are mine.

Launch Landing Pages

A run of one-page launch sites for online communities, often turned around in a day or less. Big mascot, bold type, and one clear thing to do.

On Resistance Dog v2 I did the UX/UI and a development partner built the back-end. The hooded-dog mascot itself isn’t my drawing.

Share Card Templates

A template system for the result cards a chat-bot app let people share: one layout, four states, built to look good as a tiny preview in a group chat.

Shown here as a rebuild with placeholder data: the originals carried live figures and a third-party character, so I recreated the layout without them.

MonkeyFi

Hand-drawn graphics for MonkeyFi’s community, built around one grinning monkey mascot. This is the slow-clap portrait.

Shown as posted, with no crop.
